Between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the turquoise waters of the Lac Sainte-Croix are the perfect backdrop for a wealth of watersports and activities. In the summer, lifeguards are on duty if you want to swim, and the 2,200 hectares of water gives plenty of space for trips by canoe, kayak, pedalo, or electric boat, you could even discover the pleasures of sailing or rowing. The campsite, located just a 15-20 minute walk from the lake, is the perfect jumping off point for a relaxing holiday where you can unwind and safely enjoy outdoor activities.

Your mobile home accomodation at the Clos de Barbey campsite will also afford the opportunity to explore the splendour of the Gorges du Verdon, a unique place in Europe and a major tourist attraction of Provence. Amid this exceptional natural environment of enormous limestone cliffs, you can enjoy white-water sports, air sports, caving, climbing and riding, not forgetting hiking or mountain-biking, for the less adventurous. The gigantic ravine of the Gorges du Verdon, which in some places is as deep as 700m, was thought to have been the work of the gods. Here you are immersed in unspoilt nature where the meeting of Mediterranean and Alpine climates has resulted in a particularly diverse range of flora and fauna.
