Exploring the Lac de Sainte-Croix:
The beautiful landscape and the emerald waters of the Lac de Sainte-Croix are sure to delight you. The lake covers an area of 2,200 hectares – which makes it the largest lake in Verdon and the fourth largest artificial lake in France. It is the perfect place for water sports and swimming.
Lake temperature: 20 – 25°C or more all season.
Located a 15-20 minute walk from the campsite, the tranquillity of the lake makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Beach, a two minute drive away, has lifeguards so the whole family can enjoy swimming whilst the children can have fun on the slide, surf-bikes and mini-canoes.
It is also possible to go for a calm and peaceful trip on the lake by pedalo, canoe, paddleboard or electric boat, which can be hired from the edge of the village.

La Base Nautique de Bauduen
Bauduen has a sailing centre offering a wide range of activities: Kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, catamaran, dinghies, sailing, climbing, archery, orienteering, and more.
The sailing centre also offers beginners’ courses for adults and children over 6.
The setting of the Lac de Sainte Croix, at the heart of the Verdon regional park, guarantees peace and tranquillity amid unspoilt nature. Motor boats are forbidden.
