A holiday by Lake St. Croix
It gets hot quickly in Provence and the waters of the Sainte-Croix lake are quickly suitable for swimming. A fresh and refreshing water for moments of family fun.
The villages of Bauduen, Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon and Les Salles-sur-Verdon have well-equipped beaches and a nautical base. The lake lends itself well to activities on the water: catamaran, windsurfing, dinghy, paddle and kayak. At an altitude of 480 metres, the weather conditions are varied and pleasant, the Mistral blows for thrill-seekers, and a thermal wind blows on summer afternoons.
However, it should be remembered that boats with petrol engines are forbidden on the lake; only electric motors and pedal boats are allowed. If you need to rent equipment, you will certainly find it at the water sports centres around the lake.
At an altitude of over 800 metres, we invite you to visit Aiguines. There you will discover an exceptional panorama of the lake of Sainte-Croix.
